Helen Rogers is a Nurse Consultant in Diabetes who has worked at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust London (KCH) for the last 10 years. Before this she was a Diabetes Specialist Nurse for 15 years in roles at KCH and in Palmerston, North New Zealand.

Helen gained an MSc at King’s College London, focusing on patient perspectives of impaired hypoglycaemia awareness. Helen is an active researcher and is currently working on the Hypoglycaemia Awareness Restoration Programme (HARP) and on the Automated insulin Delivery Amongst Pregnant women with Type 1 diabetes (AiDAPT) study.

She has also worked on the Continuous Glucose Monitoring in Women with Type 1 Diabetes in Pregnancy Trial (CONCEPTT) and has been actively involved in the Dose Adjustment For Normal Eating (DAFNE) program since it began. Her areas of interest are pregnancy and diabetes, and new innovations in diabetes therapy.
