What does this

PROGRAMME OFFER?

The Virtual PCDS SMART Update is a series of complimentary broadcasts designed for healthcare professionals based in primary care, with the aim of helping them gain a deeper understanding of recent clinical evidence in order to improve the care of people with type 2 diabetes. 

Time will be devoted to a range of topics from management of people with COVID-19 and diabetes, and the role of primary care in managing pre-diabetes to implementing joined-up strategies to manage the cardiac, renal and metabolic complications in type 2 diabetes.

Finally, the broadcasts discuss the importance of taking a patient-centred approach when considering medicines optimisation in primary care
